In the plastics industry, raw material mixing is a critical production step that directly affects the quality of the final product. AHF İnovasyon Makine's raw material mixers are specially designed to homogeneously combine raw materials that differ in granule size, density and color.
The PHM series raw material mixers are produced in two basic configurations: wheeled (mobile) models can be easily moved around the factory; this is a major operational advantage especially for facilities feeding raw material to multiple injection or extrusion machines. Fixed platform models, on the other hand, are ideal for production lines requiring high capacity and continuous operation.
Tank volume ranges from 25 to 500 liters. The mixing paddle is designed with a geometry that ensures homogeneous distribution of granules without damaging their surface; this preserves the quality of fragile masterbatch granules or specialty surface-coated raw materials.
The tilting tank design makes discharge both fast and hygienic. Cleaning time is minimized especially during color changes or transitions between different raw materials. Motor power ranges from 0.55 kW to 7.5 kW; rotation speed is adjustable between 10 and 60 rpm via frequency inverter.
Raw material mixers are widely used by plastic pipe, profile, sheet and film manufacturers, injection molders and recycling facilities. AHF runs every unit through empty and loaded tests before delivery, and provides a CE certificate together with the user manual.
